És públic, no sé integrar. No en vaig aprendre amb prou solidesa a Batxillerat i a la carrera tampoc en vaig fer gaires. Encara em pregunto com vaig poder aprovar aquell exàmen de de Anàlisi Matemàtica en què anava en banyador (just després acabàvem exàmens i vam córrer cap a la platja de Castelldefels). I la dura realitat es que a la que comences a fer coses finetes requereixes de les matemàtiques. Avui m’ha passat. Estavem amb l’Enric mirant temes de consum de la tmote amb diferents softwares, i necessitavem fer més anàlisi sobre per on seguir investigant per tal de augmentar la vida de les bateries. L’Enric ha agafat i amb el matlab ha començat a fer funcions i gràfics. No he entès molt be com ho ha fet, però el resultat si que l’entenia, i gràcies a una cosa que a mi sempre m’ha costat, les integrals, hem vist que a partir de cert duty cycling és hora d’atacar el msp per a que consumeixi menys en mitjana.
I aqui ve la crítica, ens falten matemàtiques!!!! És una crítica doble, per una banda crec que falten matemàtiques a la carrera de informàtica, perquè en un futur ens podem trobar problemes d’aquest tipus i hem de ser capaços de resoldre’ls com a enginyers, no com a xapuceros del excel. Però per l’altra és indispensable ensenyar les matemàtiques donant exemples REALS de la seva aplicació. Poques ciències tenen tanta aplicació com les matemàtiques, perquè sempre s’ensenyen de forma tan pura? tan aïllada? Recordo les classes de àlgebra i anàlisi matemàtica, aborrides i completament fora de context. Veig la meva germana estudiant un munt de integrals, transformades i altres coses que a mi se m’escapen de molt.
La meva pregunta, és doncs oberta, quan es revisen els plans d’estudis, a qui es consulta?
Per si algú m’escolta, ja teniu la meva proposta per al pròxim pla d’estudis de l’enginyeria informàtica:
